Isotopic enhancements of [.sup.17.O] and [.sup.18.O] from solar wind particles in the lunar regolith
Article Abstract:
The lunar regolith is exposed to solar wind and 'gardened' by meteorite impacts such that particles are continually cycled through the surface, in some soils, nearly all grains are exposed to solar wing, and some grains have probably seen several exposures. The use of lunar soil for understanding solar wind compositions of various elements is well established, but the deconvolution of contributions from various sources has proven to be difficult.

The dynamics of melt and shear localization in partially molten aggregates
Article Abstract:
New theoretical results with implications for melt focusing beneath mid-ocean ridges is presented. A formulation for magma dynamics is formulated by modeling laboratory experiments and an explanation for localized bands of high-porosity and concentrated shear deformation observed in experiments is presented.

Growth of early continental crust by partial melting of eclogite
Article Abstract:
Observations suggest that TTG magmatism, may have taken place beneath granite-greenstone complexes which develop along Archaean intraoceanic island arcs by imbricate thrust-stacking and tectonic accretion of a diverse subduction-related terranes.
